Melanie is Vice President, Global Corporate Access at RBC Capital Markets. In her role Melanie is responsible for the execution of national conferences and partnering with Sales, Trading, Research and Investment Banking she supports corporate clients in their investor outreach strategy. Prior to joining RBC, Melanie spent 7 years with a full service boutique investment dealer where she built a new department and oversaw three distinct verticals on behalf of the firm; marketing, corporate access and events. Melanie started her career in the advertising industry.
In addition to her role as Chair of Global Ivey Day on the Ivey Alumni Network Board of Directors, Melanie supports The Yonge Street Mission as a mentor and has been a volunteer with the Toronto International Film Festival since 2010.
Melanie holds an Executive MBA from the Ivey Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Marketing Management from Humber College. Melanie is the proud mother of a young son.
